Christians

Christians believe that "God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself." (2 Cor. 5:19)

God created us in his image (Gen. 1:26-27) and desires that we live in a relation of love and fellowship with Him. (John 3:16)

Every person has "sinned" against God and become less than what God intended. (Rom. 3:23)

Sin breaks fellowship with God and leads to a guilty conscience (Ps. 51:3-4).

The penalty for sin is death and eternal separation from God's fellowship. (Rom. 6:23)

God sent His Son, Jesus of Nazareth, to demonstrate his love for us and to take the penalty for sin upon Himself. (Rom. 5:8)

Jesus of Nazareth, Christ the Messiah, died for the sins of all mankind.  (2 Cor. 5:14-15)

God raised Jesus from the dead. (1 Cor. 15:3-8)

Those who trust Jesus as Lord and Savior are saved (-- restored to an eternal relationship of love and fellowship with God).   (Rom. 10:9-13)

Faithful disciples of Jesus live in a relation of love and fellowship with God and others.  (Matt. 22:35-40)
