Note: Bob Stephenson's initial letter was not addressed to Anthony Jordan, it was addressed to the editor of the Baptist Messenger. The editor of the Baptist Messenger forwarded the letter to Anthony Jordan. Stephenson's letter was written to challenge erroneous statements that Jordan had printed in the Baptist Messenger concerning forums that the Mainstream organization conducted.
At no point was the correspondence between Stephenson and Jordan private.
